Sino-European Strategic Dialogue with CICIR (China Institute of Contemporary International Relations)[+]
27-28 Nov. 2006, Beijing. With the support of CAP, FIP and FES. This series of meetings with Chinese experts allowed for an informal political and economic dialogue between France and China. Crucial topics were raised such as religions and nationalism (from South Asia to Central Asia and the Middle East); Sub-Saharan Africa; geopolitics and energy. A final roundtable considered the respective roles played by Europe and China in the current international context...
