Résultat d’une ambition conjointe d’Asia Centre avec le CICIR de constituer un cadre rencontre régulière entre experts chinois et européens issus de plusieurs instituts, et dans certains cas un canal de communication supplémentaire pour les officiels présents « à titre personnel », cette deuxième édition du dialogue avec le CICIR a été résolument marquée par son européanisation. Cette manifestation tenue à l’Institut d’Etudes de Sécurité s’est essentiellement concentrée sur les questions de stratégie et de relations internationales, en privilégiant la participation des membres invités des deux délégations chinoises et européennes.
